Privacy Policy
This page explains what information StingCode collects through stingcode.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

The short version
- We only collect what you choose to send us, mainly through the contact form, plus basic technical data needed to run a secure website.
- We use it to reply to you and to work with you. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.
- There are no ads, analytics or tracking cookies on this site.
- You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information at any time: hello@stingcode.com.
Who we are
StingCode is a software and AI development company based in Denver, Colorado. In this policy, "StingCode," "we" and "us" mean our company, and "you" means anyone who visits stingcode.com or contacts us through it.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), the service you're interested in, your budget and timeline, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
Questions you ask our AI guide
If the "Ask our AI guide" chat is available and you use it, the questions you type are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, so it can write an answer. We don't save chat conversations on our servers. Please don't type sensitive personal information into the chat.
Technical information
- Server and security data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. We use IP addresses briefly to block spam and repeated sign-in attempts.
- Browser storage. The site stores a random ID in your browser's local storage. It is not linked to your name and is not used for tracking or advertising.
- Cookies. We set one cookie, and only for our staff when they sign in to our back office. Visitors get no cookies from us.
- Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, schedule calls and prepare quotes.
- To deliver and support the work you hire us for, and to keep records of our business relationship.
- To keep the website secure and working, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We won't add you to a marketing list without your permission, and we never sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run StingCode, and only as needed for them to do that work:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and project records for as long as we need them to respond to you, work with you and meet our legal and accounting obligations. If we don't end up working together, you can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.
How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Contact form submissions can only be viewed by our staff through a password-protected back office. No method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop contacting you.
Email hello@stingcode.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, including Colorado, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we'll honor them where they apply.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website or services change. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
