Most portals and internal tools. Larger products start around $40k and are phased. Every project starts with a paid discovery ($500–$1,500), credited to the build.

Why custom instead of off-the-shelf software?
Buy off-the-shelf when it fits; it is usually cheaper. Custom makes sense when a key process doesn't fit any product, or you are paying for several tools that still need workarounds. We will tell you which applies.
Do we really own the code?
Yes. The code, data, hosting and accounts are in your name, and you are free to work with any developer later.
How do you keep the price fixed?
Discovery defines exactly what will be built and what "done" means. The proposal is fixed; new ideas during the build are quoted separately so you decide if they are worth it.
Will it work on phones?
Yes. Everything we build works in a phone browser. Native iOS and Android apps are also available when needed.
What does hosting cost?
For most business apps, hosting is tens of dollars a month. We set it up in your accounts and estimate costs up front.
